Big Red

Over the weekend I also got a slight change in appearance. I dyed my brunette locks red. It's funny how red hair has a whole other aura attached to it. People literally look at me a bit different in the streets than before. Personally I love it! Not only did my hairdresser dye it red but she put a few punky highlights of blonde, orange, and bright red. Now I feel more edgy...I guess my hair goes more with my wardrobe...instead of the girl next door look I had going. To top off the new red hair I ran around all weekend with this cool electric blue mascara (by Kat Von D at Sephora)...I def got some funny reactions from people...one person even asked me if I was part avatar...haha I only wish!

Can't Always Be A Setter

Usually I am the trend setter, but this weekend I had a slight relapse and had to invest in the cute little rubber animal bracelets all of the young kids are obsessing over. Ya, I fell into the trap...got the farm animals...even came with a green tractor :) I guess I can't always be a trend setter.

CSS - Let's Make Love and Listen to Death From Above

haha love this band.

Smart has the brains

I am totally in love with these Diesel ads! The minute I saw them on my morning walk to work I couldn't help but to totally laugh at the images! Even still months later when I see them around the city I still get a good laugh...some of it totally reminds me of stuff me and my high school friends would have maybe attempted... :) love you guys

Out...and About

For the Memorial Day weekend while everyone else was out at the Hamptons or somewhere else away from the city I was here. I did quite a bit of wandering the city because it was such a beautiful weekend weatherwise. Found some neat little inspirational things, got some new yellow shades, sipped on some bubbletea... There were tons of tourists everywhere and I especially enjoyed just people watching. Walking through Soho I saw this cute little new building going up (well maybe it isn't that cute) but I did fall in love with the color! It totally reminded me of my pistachio pudding obsession...

Crazy ain't even the word...

Over Memorial Day weekend I still kept busy sewing! I made two new pairs of leggings which turned out pretty sweet I must say so myself and even other people's reactions suprised me! For the first pair I made the front out of this crazy fabric that looks similar to a cheese grater (actually sticks out). The cool black color makes it look almost like its not a soft fabric. The back side of these leggings I used a plain deep purplish maroon color just to keep it simple. For the second pair I made kinda a cool design on the leg and it's a bit hard to tell in the photo but the nude part has little studded polka dots, one leg I used my signature 3D fabric and the other leg I used the purple. I couldn't even walk through Soho with the second pair without people stopping me and asking where they could purchase such a thing...haha :) sorry for the small photos...my cell phone isn't the best quality...
