Hey Hey!

My name is Devyn Shaughnessy. I just decided to start a blog mainly because recently I have been approached by bloggers asking if they can take photos of me for their blogs. So if I am blog worthy enough for them to stop me in the street I decided why not just start my own blog.


A bit about myself. I was born and raised in a small town in southern Minnesota (Le Center). At a young age I suddenly had an interest in fashion, which was pretty funny considering I grew up in a town 3 years behind new york in fashion. But, I was bound and determined to not let anything stop me and even though I most def was the laugh of the town for thinking such crazy things, I applied to fashion design school. With the support from my mom and high school art teacher I was able to find a school and get in. 2 days after my 18th birthday (4th of July to be exact) I moved out to the big apple and was in for the biggest change in my life. Not knowing how to sew or draw (main skills of my major) I had to work extra hard. In the end it all payed off though.


Now that I am graduated, like everyone else I am just trying to network and get my name out there. 


I love fashion, and I wont settle until fashion loves me.
