Barbie Can Dance

Soooo...I was in love with the dress soo much that I made for the customer that I decided I needed this dress for myself. I decided to make it in a fun pink color and add some studs to it...just to make it more of a me design :) Now i'm all dressed up with no where to go :( Anyways it doesn't matter...when I look back at all the amazing opportunities and things I have done in 2011...I can say I have no regrets. I got my very first sale...and after that I sent off dresses and leggings to over 25 different cities in the U.S. including 1 boutique in Brooklyn and another in the UK. Somewhere out there my glittery designs are running around on girls with unique style and personality...something I had only dreamed of actually happening years ago. New York has made me realize anything is possible. Thank you everyone for the amazing year and all of your support...and 2012...you just wait...I am just getting warmed up :)

Houston

Soo this is not what I will be rocking for New Years Eve...but someone is Houston TX will be! I got a customer order requesting specifically this dress from a photo of someone wearing a similar one. So I took on the challenge of making a pattern based off of what I had...just a photo. It ended up turning out really amazing...and I totally might have to make this dress for myself :)

Joan of Arc

Hey Hey!

I decided to make the red plaid shirt I wore in a previous post available on my UsTrendy. Just know if you do place orders the shirt may look different depending on what kind of plaids I can hunt down. When I was wearing this shirt for the first time a guy came up to me on the street and said "I think I found my Joan of Arc" kinda creepy, yes I know...but thus the name Joan of Arc was born. Hey, I guess sometimes creepy encounters can inspire you :)

Christmas Trees and Plaid

The other night after work me and my friend Chloe took a walk down 6th avenue since it was nice out. We ended up running into a little tree farm...photo op!! :)

Mood Rings

When buying this ring I couldn't help but think of that song...mood rings by relient k..."let's get emotional girls to all wear mood rings, so we'll be tipped off to when they're ticked off..." Back in my high school days I always played that song on repeat...but never really got the chance to own a cool mood ring. I'm not a fan of juicy couture but tonight I sold out...I couldn't resist a trendy mood ring! (ya I know, im kinda a geek)
