Fashion Trouble

Last night was fashion night out...lucki got to dodge all the craziness of the retail parties and chill at pamela's fashion show at a showroom in soho.

On my way through soho I got stopped by a street style photographer for Vogue Spain. He said I might be a little too edgy for vogue...but that he loved shooting my fun style...since I had soo many crazy things on. Hopefully I will make the cut!

I tucked my american flag dress into my high waisted levi shorts, threw on a jean jacket, my miss matched socks, and my glitter jeffreys. I think I might try tucking my dresses into shorts more often its a cool and comfortable look :)

Pamela's show was fun as always...and I got to meet lots of cool peeps. Fashion week welcome back! Hopefully I can get myself into some more fashion trouble :)

Fashion Week: The Plaza

Saturday I headed to the Plaza to watch a fashion show. My friend Pamela's shoes were in the show so I couldn't miss her amazing shoes walking down the runway! Plus I got to wear one of her cute pink dresses too :) Funny how it wasn't even our event...but we showed up with our entourage anyways...

FASHION NIGHT OUT

I seriously wish fashion week could be every week...I guess sometimes it is for me :)

I went wandering around Soho for fashion night out since that is one of the mega shopping areas in the city. I'm not gunna lie this year it was a bit more annoying because there were sooooo many people! But I guess when stores advertise free food, drinks, and other cool pampering services that gets everyone out of the house.

Since I live next to Aveda I started my night there. Got a free blow out (my hair was in total need of something), got a massage, and a whole bag of free hair product... very cool. Then we wandered over on to West Broadway. Stopped inside of Betsey Johnson, Victoria's Secret Pink, Crystalized, Burberry, and Chanel. I would have liked to go to more places but really there were too many people.

I saw my dream boy's drive by in the back of the trailer. 3 boys dressed up like ken dolls...if only you could really pick them like that...

After the festivities I went to Soho Grand with a friend and chilled there. Rumors had it Kelly Cutrone was going to be there...so there were tons of paparazzi kind of people outside and after we got in the place was packed!
The whole night I was testing out a pair of leggings I made for the fashion show coming up the 17th...The bloggers were on the prowl, I could tell because most were trying to sneak a pic of me. I just told them it's fine go ahead and take it...My leggings were a pretty good hit. I def got a lot of compliments! Hopefully that means the upcoming show will be good :)

My complete outfit? Urban Outfitters Blazer, Victoria's Secret T, Leggings by Me, Jeffrey Campbell Wedges, Miss Gustto Bag, Forever 21 Necklace.

"There's No Place Like New York"

Follow the yellow brick road to Juliet Friday Sept. 17th 9pm! Me and Pamela are finally getting together and collaborating on a Wizard of Oz inspired collection. I'm inviting anyone who reads my blog that wants to come! There will be leggings by me and shoes and dresses by Pamela Quinzi Design.

Just like Dorothy says..."Toto I have a feeling we aren't in Kansas anymore." You will feel like your not in NYC anymore :)
